David Wolfin, who is the President of Avino Silver and Gold Mines, learned the mining business from the ground up. He started as a geologists’ assistant in 1986, doing field work, then later worked in a variety of mining-related capacities. Over the last five years, he has been instrumental in financing, investor relations and overall management for the company.
Mr. Andrews is the owner and operator of Andrews Orchards and sells and distributes agricultural chemicals and fertilizers. Mr. Andrews is on the boards of Bonner Mall, Berkley Resources and North Coast Life Insurance Co. He serves as the chairman of the audit committee on both North Coast Life and Berkley. He has served as labor foreman for Kennecott Mining Company, a division of Rio Tinto in the Arctic Circle. Mr. Andrews has a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University and a Masters in Political Science. He served as a helicopter pilot and is retired from the United States Army Reserves.
A Certified Financial Planner, Mr. Robertson has worked in the financial industry for the past 20 years. He presently serves on the board of several private companies as well as on the board of six Canadian junior gold mining companies including Bralorne Gold Mines Ltd., Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd., Coral Gold Resources Ltd., Mill Bay Ventures Inc., Levon Resources Ltd. and Sage Gold Inc.
Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the University of Hartford having a major in Finance and Insurance. He is a founder of A to B Capital Management, and manages the A to B Capital Special Situations Fund, LP which was launched on January 1, 2009. The fund invests in the small cap sector through private, pre-public and publicly traded companies. In addition, he has been a Vice President of Barry Kaplan Associates (“BKA”) for the past 16 years, a leading financial public relations firm for both public and private companies in the US, Canada and abroad. Prior to working at BKA, he had six years’ experience working at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch involved in deal structure, mergers and acquisitions and trading.
